FS: Haynes Roadster Project - Nearlly Complete

I'm current weighing up my options with my build.
I seem to have run out of spare time to do the final push on my build so seeing if there is any interest in my near complete project. I'm not in the game of loosing £1000's but would take a sensible offer, if not I'll do a big push in the spring/summer and try and finish.

It currently has a 1.8CVH to get through IVA with then an easy mod to fit a zetec post IVA. It has zx6r carbs on a custom inlet manifold. All brake lines are in with correct fittings, just needs bleeding. Throttle and clutch are cable operated and are connected to pedal box.

It has moved under its own power 5 meters out of the garage a couple of times, but currently sorting out ecu and spark for final installation.

I did a rough add up and it comes to about £5k and there's probably a load of bits I've forgotten plus all the consumables to get to this point. I'm not going to split it so the following is just for indication.

AGM Body Kit 700
Bones and Uprights Talon 400
Gaz Shocks and Springs 450
Bushes, joints, mushrooms 150
Donor Parts 400
Westfield Leather Seats 200
Chassis and Plates 350
Zx6r Carbs and Pipercross filter & Plate 170
OBP Pedal Box 200
Brake lines 150
Fuel Tank and Pump 120
Brake and Fuel Lines 35
New Moto Lita Steering Wheel and Boss 120
Radiator and Fan 50
NODIZ ECU 270
Westfield Exhaust Manifold 100
Exhaust Custom Chrome 75
Roll Bar 50
Wiring Loom (Fisher Fury) 100
Steering Rack & Extensions 100
New Custom Prop Shaft 150
Brake cylinders rear 30
Ali for Panels 100
Brake Fluid Resevoir 30
Coolant Resevoir 20
Silicon Cooling Pipes 60
Oddessey Battery 50
New Starter motor 50
New Wheel Bearing Fr Rr 50
Misc 150
Inlet Manifold and Carb Mounts 120

Whats left to buy, Lights (I have some old caterham headlights that could be reworked), dash/clocks harnesses and a nice set of wheels, fuel fill cap. The rest is all the odds and sods for tidying wiring and IVA. The only bits of welding are: finish roll bar, completely weld steering column extension (only tacked in place) and exhaust bracket.
I have a letter from VOSA/DVLA with an allocated chassis number.

If you are interest PM me.

Mike

A shame you are having to sell - but really interesting to see the pricing you've summarised as i'm carefully budgeting my build as I go with lots of estimated costs being replaced by 'real' costs as and when money is spent.... Your numbers are not dissimilar to mine !

It all adds up and there's all the stuff you conviently forget about to!
I might not sell yet can't afford to give it away so I'll have to get a reasonable offer.

Another option is to pay someone to finish the build. if anyone has recommendations with a very competitive day rate I could be interested.

Mike,

We can do it M-tech for around £300+VAT/day

That will bit a fit and finish to the quality as can be seen here:

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to try and get a chunk of time on it to see how far I can get it. If I can sort the electrics lights and dash thats a big chunk done.
It might have to come down to you anyhow for a NODIZ tune up and possibly some finishing jobs if I run out time/motivation again!
