Centaur Kawasaki ZX13R Sports racer / sports libre

Centaur Mk.21 1300cc Kawasaki Sprint / Hill Climb car. Also eligible for Classic Clubmans Proto class.

Originally fitted with a 1300 X-flow it has been professionally and sympathetically converted to take a Motorbike engine, not an 'angry grinder, all-thread and Dexion special!

The car is presented in very nice, clean condition with what appears to be recent powder coating on the chassis, wishbones, suspension components and mudguard brackets. The bodywork is also in recent paint with only a few minor stone chips on the mudguards. The nuts and bolts are all good quality, again appear to be very recent, zinc plated with a yellow passivate giving the impression it has been loved and cared for and would appeal to someone who likes their cars to look 'right'.

The Centaur has been run and owned by an experienced competitior over the last 2 seasons and with all the development / set up of electronic systems now complete it offers the chance to compete with some very exotic machinery at a budget price.

Kawasaki ZX12 base engine Holeshot tuned to approx 200BHP at the wheels with overbore to 1300, head work, cams, pistons, Power Commander and Tony Law exhaust at a receipted cost of over £3000.

All Quaife drive train: Quaife Midget based diff, Ford type half shafts, Quaife propshaft, Quaife reversing gearbox (reversing box is £1000)

Proshift Paddle Shift Gear System: Recently installed and set up by Proshift themselves so works as it should at a cost of £1500. Paddle shift levers properly engineered into SPA Q/R steering wheel boss. Digital Gear Display

Wilwood Alloy 4 piston front callipers and AP Lockheed alloy 2 piston rears.

Spax adjustable dampers

Herald front uprights

The car previously had a Philspeed 1300 X-flow engine fitted and the engine mount to return the car to a X-flow is included. It appears that all the dry sump tank mountings etc. remain on the chassis so the car could be returned to it's original spec if necessary

Included are a set of Wolfrace Slot Mags with wet tyres

Moulds for the two top sections of body work are included which have parts laid up in to them (released) as is a spare nose section

MSA log-booked, including engine change to 1200cc and capacity change to 1297cc. No damage recorded.
