Raceline wet sump from Blacktop on St170

Hi,

Currently running a Blacktop, but can´t stop thinking about putting a St170 in my seven.
I have understood St170 isn´t a proper Duratec, just a modified Zetec.
So, will my Raceline wet sump fit an a St170 engine?

Yes - it's exactly the same sump on a BlackTop as it is on an ST170.

I happen to have an ST170 crated up ready to sell if you want one too :-)

EDIT - your inlet and exhaust manifolds will also fit (as you noted, the ST is in fact a modded Zetec engine, not a Duratec at all) although I think the ports might be a slightly different shape.

Personally, I went for a crate BlackTop instead (hence the one for sale) as I couldn't be hassled with the whole VVT thing and wanted a zero miles motor, but if you get the VVT working well, or buy a delete kit, it should give you some decent gains over a std BT motor.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure

Will fit, I've just taken one from a silvertop and put on a st170. I'm attempting to run off original ecu as per Big Wasa's post, current challenge is trying to fit the inlet in the chassis.
