It may be heavier but its also stronger so you can use less of it...... I will shut up now

Jokes aside,
you can use less material seen its greatest strength and absolutely correct.
I had previously done a similar thought.
thinking only change the center of the rim star.
but only the material cost more than € 1000
not including labor.
Although it would have its charms.
