Dodgy Missed calls

I found out what those dodgy calls were on my mobile. Ever since I've advertised with Autotrader I've been getting missed calls on my mobile. What I didn't realise was that they were 0704 numbers, premium rate ones. No matter how fast I answered them they rang off, then I called 'em back not realising they were premium rate numbers. Luckily my mobile company has credited the calls - so if you didn't know there were dodgy f*ckers doing this, now you do.

Thanks for that - I was getting 'em too. In the end, being p***ed off with not answering in time, and thinking they may be ad calls, I started just ignoring & deleting 'em. Now I know I was doing the right thing. BTW, I don't advertise with Autotrader....

We got stung(only for about £10 luckily)

the wife got a text message saying "we have tried to deliver a parcel today, but you weren't in, please call this number **********, quoting this reference to rearrange a delivery", as we were actually waiting for a parcel, she didn't think anything of it, rang the number to get ,welcome to inter express couriers, press1 for this etc....in the end they just said we are unable to take you call please call back later.

she did this three times before i realised the scam.

one to watch out for.

What happened when you got through Jasper? Just so we might realise if the same thing happens to us.

I haven't advertised with Autotrader. Some while ago (nearly a year now) I placed an advert with Adtrader. But I've only just started getting these bl**dy calls from about a month ago. Is there anything we can do to stop them? I just stop or delete them, but they are very irritating.

Yet another batch of numbers to add to the list of these calls - 0709. Another set of numbers for me to ignore....

Always worth getting one of the free sims that Orange and O2 give out regularly. I register them and then chuck them in ano old mobile if i'm going to be selling anything giving out that number.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
