This Mcpherson suspension is not suiteble for a seven because the strut needs the height for the spring.
Why don't you make the double wish-bone system?
You could use :
Opel Manta, Kadett-C, Taunus, Hyundai Stellar uprights

Grtz

if the strut will fit, you are ok using it. Its not ideal sporty, and if the car is tall you will probably need an anti-sway bar to control it. Then again, if your donor car didnt need an anti-roll bar, your new car probably wont either. Im guessing you just want to build for the fun of building, and you're not bothered if its fast or whatever?

Wow!
Something to speedy.

Are you asking me something?
what is C line? Your avatar is an opel kadett D. mine is a C.
If you ment an opel Kadett c (vaux chevette) has also a double wishbone. you could use the complete front axle but also only the uprights.

Making a double wishbones isn't that complex. You only have to get control of your caster, bumpsteer, static-rollcentre, the rest is less important for us who drive only as the sun shines

grtz

The Rekord has also Mc pherson. I will scan the workshop manual of the front axle of the kadett-C. The brakes of the Rekord fit to the upright of the C. Only in that case no 13" wheels anymore.
