Pivot points for pedals? How?
Hi,
I'd like to pick your brains on the following; I'm considering making a new set of pedals, but I'm stuck on how to make the
pivotpoints. I don't have access to a lathe, so I need to find a solution that doesn't require any machining. I just can't think of
a good solution......
Does anyone have a good idea?!?

On mine, the pivots are 10mm id tubing welded in at right angles to the flat pedal strip. Will post a pic later if you like.

I made a set using the same plastic bushes, crush tube and bolts used for the wishbones, worked very well.
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet

Steel plate for the pedal arms with steel tube welded in at right angles to the plate to provide a bush tube/pivot point. Top or bottom mount as
preferred.

I butchered a Manta pedal box for the pivots, cut the pedals off, turned it upside down and re-welded, making them floor mounted. Works a treat and
