can you put a cowel around it?

the crowel i got from the donner is not long enough.

is the adjustable sierra column cowl not longer?? seem to remember reading something on here

I'm sure my column sits closer to the dash than that?? I'll go check later. The top of the standard cowling is quite short though.

so do i need a new cowl?

where can i source one from or can i make one?

I just glued ribbed rubber mat to the inside of the cowl and tucked it under the dash, looks really production.

I formed a bit of ally sheet, covered it with black vinyl and secured each side with a black self tapper into the plastic cowel. Have a look at Hellfires build site for pictures (I copied what they did).

Had same problem. Bought a sierra one & shortened it.

LOL - for SVA I cut two 2 litre Tesco value water bottles, glued together and covered in black insutlation tape! Got rid of it now but still not got round to tidying it up; it is exces weight anyway and the area behind the steering wheel is not tested othjer than wiring being secure.

O2 lmao at ur avatar. I got a wall like that at bottom of garden. Nice to know it bites.

there are 2 sizes of cowl, the longer cowl is off the adjusatble column
