Interior Corner Edge trim
K19 - 13/4/17 at 03:24 PM

Hi all,

First post here, just bought a part finished MK Locost, I'm currently looking to do the trimming in the interior as per the IVA. Specfically the central section that has a sharp 90 degree corner. I'm not sure what would be best to put along that edge, is THIS the stuff i'm looking for?

Below is picture of piece i'm trying to trim

Thanks in advance

James

I've seen quite a few people use this type of stuff :-

http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/wing-piping-14mm-tail-per-metre

They 'sandwich' it between the top plate and the sides so that the round bead runs all along the edge.

Thanks edwardo, that stuff might fit the job without me having to do much work!

If it's for IVA you would be better with a bigger diameter on the round section, I think you can get 6mm, it's called p section if you have an eBay search etc

Hockey stick aluminium extrusion. Used on horse boxes . Or tadpole trim, woollies trim has both types I think.
