Question for those with Fury etc. full bodied cars (wiring to headlamps)
TimC - 11/8/17 at 06:58 AM

Hi All,

I need to run wires from the top of my front bodywork to the headlamps and indicators. This needs to be securely attached to the underside of the front clamshell.

I'm wondering if I should use PU or make a channel with heatmat or something else.

What have you Fury, Phoenix etc. owners done and would you do it again?

Ta

I've attached some zip tie blocks using a glue gun and so long as you prepare the surface first, roughen up so it has a good key then it sticks fine. You can then just zip tie them to the blocks then.

On the underside of the bonnet I bent some 10or15mm ally strip into U brackets and PU'd them in place. I then threaded the loom under the brackets. I did worry that the brackets might a peel off but they've stayed in place for 9yrs so far.

I stuck my airbox in place on the underside of the bonnet, it's not fallen off yet I used SIKAFLEX EBT. Amazing stuff

The wiring I brought in at the front next to the hinge and fixed in place behind the wheel arch lip.
