Gear Gaitor

Hi Guys,
Some of you might have seen my dashboard project. Its finally complete and now looking to sort out the gearstick bit.
I have just paid for a gear stick from Coozer, and i was going to get a ring made up to fit my allocated space to hold the gaitor down but am now lost thinking of lots of ideas for the gaitor.
Was thinking of buying a cheap one and adapting it as best i can. I tried making one a few years ago and failed, so don't really want to do that again.
What have other people done? And where have they got them from?
I have attached a picture of what that part looked like before it was painted white. Yet to take a new one!
Thanks in Advance
Ed

I could make you a carbon fibre one (assuming I have an offcut the correct size in good condition!), if you would like?
