Steering Column Position, Angle and IVA Compliance

Hi everybody,

Does anybody have any advise regarding optimum steering column position and angles and is there any I need to any ensure regarding IVA compliance?

Put a seat in the car, put yourself in the car and put the steering wheel where you want it. Then work forward from there. You need the 10 degrees deflection somewhere in the column for IVA, but you're likely to find that happens naturally due to the routing having to work round obstructions.

I work on the assumption that this isn't a production car, it won't have any adjustment, so first priority must be how it feels to the driver.

I use a Sierra adjustable column that gives a little in/out and moderate up/down
