Trike build officially start today!

I am picking up my freebie 2.8 V6 today. Comes with some +hp goodies too. First job will be to strip it down, check for damage as the sump is cracked, either weld up the sump or replace it and then make it shiny Will post picys for yaal





How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Snap just bought swing arm for mine i have suzuki marauder too heavy for jane to ride so am going to trike it for her going to build up rear from swing arm so i can have both trike or bike going to build chain drive diff into cage and put together ford shafts etc not unlike back of seven fab this to swing arm and away you go well sounds right in theory but we have all been there before ha ha

Picys as promised. I had planned to whip the sump off and check the bearings but took longer than planned to literally drag the pallet from his garden, round the side of the house, up a step and onto my truck.









Am i right in thinking this is actually a 2.9? Added bonus, sump is not cracked! Not sure why my mate was told that.

Yep it's 2.9 engine, the 2.8 runs siamesed exhaust ports.
