Flexible ducting for SC to air intake?

Does anyone know if this can be used between a supercharger and air intake? Or is it just cold side stuff its good for? Its rated to 250 degrees. Im not too sure how hot supercharged air gets?

Not sure about temps, but if you can find anything else to do the job I would highly recommend NOT using that stuff.

We have to use it on our permit plane & it's ghastly, the spring becomes detached from the silicone, the silicone frays, it refuses to go on to anything unless it's an easy sliding fit, & it's quite easy to perforate. It's known as scat hose & coincidentally scat is another name for animal poo - I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions!

TBH, I don't know that it would stand much in the way of internal pressure, it's built more to withstand outside pressure, hence the spring inside it, we use it on duct hose to the carb & air intakes

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Cheers for the reply Russ. I thought it wouldn't be of any use but ive a couple of metres of it, and yep the metal has started to come away from the material and its not even be used!!!!

I need to connect my SC outlet to an air intake but its not quiet a 180 degree angle. Ive ordered a 135 degree ali tube to see if that will work. Kit cars are simple eh!!!!!

I have a big box full of various alloy turbo alloy pipes, straight/ bends and the silicone joiners & mikalors. From memory I think they are about 75-80mm.

Work out where you want your filter and Im sure we can come to a deal.
