Mice problems -- IE7

Looks like a busy week ahead -- A number of clients have phoned in the last few days reporting problems using mice to the extent it makes the PC unuseable ---- all have just installed IE7.

I've seen a few mouse and IE7 related problems, all (so far) sorted with updated drivers.

Have fun though!

Cheers

I just keep telling windows auto update NO as it has ie7 ready for install. Not heard a single good thing about ie7, just people saying what other things it's made go wrong or not compatible with!

Is there a way to go back to 6? I don't use it really as I use firefox. Just click update by mistake.

I'm sick of the number of friends/family members that are having problems with the bloatware MS have released.

All problems have been fixed by installing Firefox. I've noticed from site statistics on my website that firefox is becoming more and more popular.

Apple is not the way to go... it's not the industry standard (sadly).

Firefox Internet Browser however; is!

Does the mouse and keyboard freeze when you use IE?

I've got a similar problem with a clients pooter - I've removed IE7 and it still does it!
