Darren knocked off his bike

Guys,

Just had a message from Darren that he was hurt in an accident where he was knocked off his bike last night, so is off work for a while.

If you are trying to get in touch with him, please bear this in mind.

I will update when I get some more info.

Cheers,
David

Hope he's ok with no complications, never nice when things like that happen, my thoughts are with his family.

I trust it wont effect his delivery times.

Hey anyone know if "ZEN" is in the UK at the moment ???

Does this mean that people won't be getting their orders delivered or possibly delayed?

Red wine splatters all over my twin monitor display. Sorry Darren is in pain, really.

I have sent Darren an e-mail about my visit to Kent on 8.sep.'09. In his reply he stated that "the order has been shipped yesterday".
He has sent me a tracking number for the shipment via DHL. I have tried to track the package on the DHL web site which resulted in a message "No Result Found for your Query". The last message I received from him was on sep. 11. at 17:37h
For now I'm not going to comment the "bike accident".

I have contacted DHL by phone. They say the Waybill Number that Darren gave me
is NOT valid and they can't find any parcels with that number or in fact addressed to my name...

He was clipped by a car which luckily just knocked him off.

Sounds like he is making a good recovery anyway.

Zen, sorry to hear you are still having problems. I will be going down to collect some bits in a couple of weeks and will ask then if I remember.

Cheers,
David

Checked again with the tracking number on DHL a few minutes ago. Now is shows up and says "Shipment picked up Monday, September 14, 2009 at 13:30".

Good news I thought it might have been that it hadnt been registered on the system.

Hope it arrives in one piece!

By the documents received from DHL it seams that not all the items are in the package. Still missing about 230 GBP in parts

Have you spoken to him about it? Or are you just venting on here first?

Plus if you havent recieved it yet, why are you making a fuss. Wait and see what you get!

youre overstepping your helpful bounds now flak?

It sounds like Darren wont speak to Zen and hes already given large amounts of leeway, so hes possibly allowed to vent? The thread choice might be dubious, but it saves the forum getting clogged with GTS comments.

Just to be clear, im not attacking GTS or Darren here, but I'm happy to admit im defending Zen.

Sorry, but it reads like he hasnt even recieved it yet, so doesnt even know whats there and what isnt.

Fair enough if some stuff is missing, but at the moment who knows?

If GTS wont speak to him, then someone has been (and its not been me) in order for him to get his parts.

I am expecting some parts myself from GTS and will be going to collect them in a couple of weeks.

Anyway, whatever. My helpfulness is at the end of it's tether and is now withdrawn in matters regarding GTS. At least on the public forum. Any discussions will be had via PM with only those people involved.

I have received the scan of the bill for the customs office from DHL and there is missing 4 parts that I have ordered and the package is way to light...

I hope you get that parts you need to continue for a while, maybe by then you'll receive the rest of your order.

Again, good luck.
