My newly finished Panther

Just finished my Panther after 2½ years of building.
I live in Sweden, so a Saab turbo engine felt like a natural choice. (I've been driving Saab turbos ever since I got my driver licence.)

The car is going to be used on both street and track days.

Nice tidy build

Should go well with the SAAB engine

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

Thanks for the comments!

It doesn't quite fly yet, but it takes off like a fighter jet.

Looks great.

Any logic/performance data behind the spoilers? I like the way you have mounted the rear one to the cage, a neat solution

Nice looking car! Are you planning to fit a windscreen/aeroscreen later on?

Thanks!
The front and rear spoilers is for downforce in fast corners on trackdays.
The rear one is a copy of a Porsche 996 cup wing, but I don't remember how much downforce it generates.
The front wing is to keep the front down (duh ) and compensate for the rear spoiler. As I've heard, locosts tend to get light and unstable in the front at high speeds?
Anyhow, I think they look cool.

As I'm a novice at driving a locost on a racetrack I'll probably won't notice the difference anyhow.

Totally. Very smart build though.

Unless you REALLY want it, loose that spoiler! Its living up to its name.

Hi Magnus, sorry for the late reply, I will be fitting a full screen after IVA test, I have the parts already and a heater is also fitted.

Driving my Panther on Mantorp park - Sweden.
Just starting to build up some confidence, but I'm still frightened of the cars behaviour sometimes.
It's so responsive and does not leave much room for error. (this is my first RWD car I ever driven on track)

I bet that shifts. Interesting colour choice i would imagine white shows scuffs and chips quite badly.

The spoioler is made by HJCC Composite in Sweden. It's fixed in two 12mm id pipes and a hex-nut to lock the spoiler.

Actually I think the chips and scuffs would show more on a darker color.
