Selling my MK Indy Rolling Chassis
flying_coffin - 30/3/08 at 03:03 PM

I don't seem to be able to find the time to get my MK build moving forward so I think it's time to try and sell it on.

Details are on PH website Here

Basically it's an MK Indy with slightly Modified 2.0Ltr Pinto. Brakes and clutch are working just needs fueling and cooling sorted.

If you want any more detail drop me a line or call. Looking for offers over £3K.

Cheers
Dave
ps. thanks for the support recieve through the forum with the build so far. This is a great resource for locost builders.

Don't give up. Get back in the garage and finish it.

Would do but I've been saying that for 12 months

Do people think the price is reasonable ?

you'll regret selling it!

not saying you should use it as a guide but i bought my indy pretty much as yours sits now but minus the shocks for £1450.

Some motivational treatment required

1) You will lose more money without finishing and SVAing it.. (This one keeps me going, must have sottish blood somewhere)..

2) Get to a kit car show!

3) Get to a track day!

4) Meet up with some fellow local builders..

5) Money to pay a company to finish it?

If you do end up selling, good luck..

Cheers

Dan

PS my car has had several periods of about 12 months without motivation (started it in 2004! nearly done now though).. After all it's meant to be fun, nothing wrong with giving it a rest, It's still possible to get back on with it, just need to occasional push back in the garage..

yep - ^^^ good reason to press on as people don't want to pay much for part built kits; you'll be lucky if you see more than 1/2 what you paid for it.
