For sale update

I have sold the rack, pedals & lights there is a lot of stuff for sale everything from part aluminium sheets mesh, stainless tube bends, diff, refurb driveshafts sierra calipers ( factory refurbed ) new dics, new 9inch drums wheel cylinders steering column, steering wheel, 4x sierra alloys and wheel nuts, hanbrake sierra speedo set roadster roll bar with mounting plates fitted, If you are near York it may well be worth you calling in I'm off for 3 weeks so anytime should be ok.

This may interest you (or not) I still cant believe it myself.... I decided to call it a day on the roadster after finding my chassis was badly twisted. I have had the car building bug for years after building an NG Cortina based Henley in 1991 I sold it in Feb 1992 as baby no1 was on the way, I was always sad that I had sold it but it had to be done!! baby no1 arrived in June 1992 followed by her sister in 1996 3 house moves ( 2 of which were completely renovated by me ) Fast forward to Sept 2008 swmbo gave me the green light to get building again. Then in march the problem with the chassis. So I thought I would hang up my overalls for good or at best find a project half built.
Sunday night (10th) I was surfing the web and found myself drifting down memory lane and got onto the NG site and looked at the cars for sale.....yes you have guessed it there was my old car or sale!!!!!! been and bought it from the guy I sold it to 17 years ago and it still looks great... can believe it. all being well I collect it on Saturday YEEEEEHHHHAAAAA, does anyone know anyone tha is good for the insurance???
PS I know its not a seven but I'll staay on the site if thats ok. Dont forget come and have a look at what bits I have. Im not going tocharge the earth for them judt a fair price thats all. If I cant load a picture of my car on the post I will put it in the photo archive. The moral I suppose is you never know what might be round the corner Chuffed

Are the 9" drums for an Escort axle? If so, I might be interested. Please U2U or email me (links below) to let me know and how much you are after.

Thanks

Simon

Pleased things turned out well for you after all. Even if it's not a Seven it's still a nice looking car.

Really nice looking car. Unless it's a particularly complimentary photo it looks like it's been well looked after in the previous 17 years!

What sort of engine etc?. does it have?

Cheers,
James
