4x4 Bargain

A mate is selling his 4x4. it would make a good tow car for track meets.

1992, Toyota HiLux Surf, 2.4 Automatic.
Low mileage, genuine 70,000 Kilometres ( about 40,ooo miles)only.
Ricaro front seats.
CD player.
Alloys with all new tyres.
Cat 1 immobiliser.
Tow bars front and rear.
New batteries.
New exhaust, 12 months ago.
Undersealed
10 months Mot.
9 months tax.

The good news; He only wants £3K!
Got to be a bargain.
It has not been hammered or abused in any way. He looked after it like it was family.
If you are interested, U2U me before Wednesday (I am taking tSWMBO away for a few days) and I will give you his phone number.

Sorry but I think that's way too much for a 92. Just paid 2k for a 99

My thoughts exactly! I've just picked up a 98 for my chum for £1500. Freshly reg'd and undersealed ready to go! I had to drive to Southampton to collect it though!

1992 would make £1800 max, and realistically around £1500. in great condition.

get him to put it on ebay, he will see.......

There a good truck but way to much money,The bottom has fallen out of high priced imports now.

UK trucks of the same spec are just to cheap,A good L200 Can be picked up for 5-6k

Thanks for the input guys,
marcjagman/owelly, did the ones that you bought for £2k/£1.5K only have 42,000 genuine miles on the clock?
Also this is the top of the range SSRG, not a scabby SSRX, in immaculate condition.
I know the condition, because it is parked on my drive at the moment.

lol

theres not 1 genuine mileage import out there, as they dont have history, unless tyou have a japanese translator..

even with that miles, even if genuine, would never make much more than £2000

check ebay and you will see, a clean fully loaded 3.0 Td might make close to 3k, but never the underpowered 2.4

althou, i love them, and have had 3 and they were great motors, they just are not worth what hes asking.... the market decides!!!!!

Not quite so low mileage but was 1 owner and a full service history and not an import, not a petrol or an automatic so overall a much better buy I think and I'm sure many others will, and have, agree on this.

yep

the 2.4 is a great town driver, but the 3.0 is the one, pulls anything and much smoother and not alot in the fuel side of things, and less money.

might get one soon to rerplace my pajero. but will have to be the 3.0 td.......

i am sure its lovelly, just not 3k lovelly......
