OT brabantia bins

read the MSE email the other day that mentioned this one. Basically brabantia bins are prone to breaking the catches, but if you ring up customer care they will exchange the bin lid for you, freepost. Mines been bust for ages, and im sure someone else on here will have one too.

From saynoto0870, the free number is 01275819119.

Bit random, but i was just impressed they would swap it after 5 years without wanting the receipt.

10 year warrantee on these, but £80 for a stainless tube, it only seems fair.

We had one, and it had a lifetime guarantee. Those catches seem to be a common problem.

definately, it sticks out too far so that when you push rubbish down, it catches and snaps off. But fair play to them, nice as pie on the phone and no wrangling.

Good call! Mine was fine for years until my youngest grandson discovered it made a lovely loud noise when slammed shut.
The catch is still intact but it jams every so often - looks like a phone call will sort that out then

Cheers,
Raz

Yep, lifetime guarantee, we've had ours replaced 3 times so far over the last 6 or 7 years!
