Testing the water - (Locost 7 For sale)

Morning all,

After much deliberation I am thinking of selling my 7 due to circumstance changes. The car has just had a full engine rebuild over the winter with no expense spared and all new parts. Many other parts have been refurbished and upgraded. Spec below:

Lightweight Specification
1700 X flow
Kent BCF2 Cam
Twin Webber DCOE 40's With ITG Foam Filter (fully rebuilt and jetted)
Custom Tubular exhaust 4-2-1 manifold - (freshly wrapped)
Stainless exhaust system
Adjustable Gaz Coil over shocks all round
Discs all round (fully refurbished callipers and painted red with new pads all round)
12 Row Oil Cooler
Coil over live rear axle
Cut off switch
Push button start
Parallel links and panhard rod
Silicone hoses all round
New Fan
Servo
Cobra bucket seats
Willans 4 point harnesses
Led running lights
Polished and ported head (with unleaded conversion)
Cometic gaskets all round
Baffled Sump
Oil catch tank
Lightened and balanced Fly wheel
New AP Clutch

The car is on age related plates NOT Q plated. It has a years MOT (with 0 advisories) and 6 months tax.

I have spent thousands on the car but I just can’t really justify it any longer. As previously mentioned, when the engine was rebuilt it had all new parts even right down to a complete stainless nut and bolt kit. Other things like Pistons, valves, followers, pullys, hoses, bearings, thermostat & housing are all new – this really is a top spec engine and now becoming very rare.

All engine work and machining has been undertaken by 2 very well known experts in the Ford tuning and rebuilding industry - both of whom are willing to clarify all work that has been carried out.

Also with the car comes a complete photo diary of the original build and the rebuild and videos along with a very large box of receipts and paperwork.

I am looking for £5000 for the car. A much more detailed specification can be provided if required along with pictures – just send me a U2U. Again I can not upload images to this site so many apologies for that.

All inspections are welcome.

I know - Just will not let me upload and I can not find a good reason for it, I have tried several different PC'S and different formats of picture and size - nothing will upload to my Archive. I have been through this many times with people on here but never any joy.

Apologies again for this - I will have another go later.

That's the other option yes. As I said I will have another stab later and if no joy then I will do that.

It's probably because your pics are to large or the names too similar. Shrink them so the longest edge is 1000 pixels and then name each one randomly so there's less chance of them conflicting with any other files already uploaded to the site.

Hi Nick,

Having just spotted your ad on PH (and now here), I was wondering if you'd look kindly upon a PX with a Fabia vRS (with cash on top of course). It seems to fit the small hatchback PX reqs in your ad, although not sure if that is what you've had in mind... More details can be provided though!

Q.
