What Ride Height ??

Hi,

I wonder if you guys can advise on the ride height your currently running on yours cars and what clearance you have on your sump.

100 mm


With wife as a passenger....... 90 mm.



With my mates wife as a passenger....... 60 mm

100 mm front 125 mm rear about 85 mm under sump

This was discussed a long time back - the general consensus was that no part of the car should be lower than 100mm so that you can clear the majority of speed bumps.

This is different from the best ride height for handling, which is that the rear height should be greater than the front (as ianhurley20 has said); if you make the front higher than the rear then the handling gets VERY interesting at speed!
