Hi spec 4pot cortina brake calipers and lightweight discs

These look snazzy…. See photo archive folder

They came off a set of cortina uprights, very light (will try to weigh them tomorrow) look structurally good and undamaged, just need a clean up and the fastenings and other bits like flexis and pads, etc.

They are usually race calipers as they don’t have the dust seals for high miles normal road car use, so ideal for track day cars or road cars you only drive on clean and dry summer days….

Discs are 280mm diameter and about 8mm thick. I have no pads or flexis to be clear.
I can’t see a model name but they are standard Ford cortina fitting, assume m16.

No idea on price as they’re a lovely bit of kit but have sat in a box for years so need a thorough check and service before use.

Is £100 fair?

Thanks

Apologies, I forgot there’s a problem….

We just remembered that there’s some damage on these, sorry, I completely forgot.

Disks are fine.
One caliper is fine.
The other caliper has thread damage on both bleed screws. I’ll add more photos to my archive in a second.

So best guess is you’ll have to drill them out to the next size up.

Therefore - make me an offer, happy to post, now sold as a little project for the more confident owner!

FYI - weight is 2.6kg per disk, 1.1kg per caliper.

Thanks, and apologies again.
