fuel pump
Hi all, i never considered that this would cause me a problem but were is a good place, internet site or neer nottingham to locate a high preasure
fuel pump i only seem to be able to find ones for carbs

not high enough preasure i need 65 psi / 4 bar (aprox) at idle

Are you sure about that? Think you'll find 3bar pumps are the norm.

just had a look in service manual read it wrong says 43psi standard i assume this is at idle, so is the preasure required to rise as the throtle is
opened or is it a flat rate preasue and its all done by the injectors,
sorry to be dumb but this is my first real dabble into EFI

Hi Tilly, the fuel pump will supply that pressure all day, regardless of how hard you hit the throttle, :-). How much is supplied to the injectors is
controlled by the fuel pressure regulator, which will be somewhat less than the pump puts out, hence the reason for the return to tank fuel line. Hope
