Ok guys how much?????

How much would you guys consider paying at auction for a ford zetec? say something around 1995? Am going to the auctions on friday for a looksie but I'd value your advice on this.

£300 for the 2l and half that for the 1.8l dont touch the 1.6......

Are you buying it for the car ie to drive or do you just want the engine ,if its the engine I would save myself the hassle and get it from a good breakers.....

See what they go for on ebay first .Bumpers on the Mondeo get battered making the car look tatty and therfore cheaper.........

Been watching Zetecs on ebay myself, 1.8s seem to be going for about £100 but then you might have to travel a way to get it.

Local breaker will give you a choice at 100 quid
and you can see it in the car.

I need it for the engine, gearbox, wheel hubs,etc etc etc. Primarily it's the engine and gear box I'm after. but there is other stuff as well which is why I think it'll be in my long term interests to get it from auction rather than get the bits seperate from the local breakers which are quite pricey

ton for a 1997 mondeo 2ltr.Auto in all,so i also got the edis.Local.Fell lucky,just heard the owner was stuck with it.Box was goosed.Still drove but no auto selection.Oh cashed the tax in as well.....





..Which was nice..
