Hi Adrian let us Know if you want them...

I normally get as many edis 4's as I can from the scrapie and flog them on ebay at a tenner ago but because of the price of steel the scrapie I use has been squashing more than he has been breaking and I havn't been able to get any more...

Hi Warren

Yep interested in the bits, does the coil pack have its connector?

I've also been trawling through the RS web site and think I've identified everything except the map sensor (which i probably wont need as i'm thinking of going TPS). It works out quite dear though as most bits have a min order.

I'll start a new thread and list it all for verification

TPS on Megajolt

Adrian,

I was considering this as I have a set of nice BlackBird carbs courtesy of Warren that already have a TPS fitted.
I was advised via the Megajolt forum that I would be better utilising MAP than TPS, as the MAP gives a true indication of load on the engine as opposed to the 'heaviness' of the drivers right foot from TPS.

Could be talking total crap though....

Hi Stuart

Yes MAP is best, but with twin webbers its hard to get a good vac signal, especially with fast road cams

Yep I to was wondering about this ?

All the other big ecu players seem to use the tps as the third dimension..Again my carbs (r1)have this and I dont want to drill the manifold if I can help it.....

can the map sensor be mounted in the air filter or to just one of the intake tracts ?? Can anybody give any advice or experiance on this................

Hi Warren

vac off one cylinder will pulsate, you can comman all 4 up and use a chamber to filter out the pulses

Have a look at http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?s=4e26550c4a286548c6bccbf792a19c55;act=ST;f=3;t=28764

Adrian

Ps good luck at the scrappies
