Im asking cause wankel engines needs accurate fuel pressurw to work corectly.

Hi mate ive utilised the rx8 fuel pot with internal 4 bar regulator, albeit lowered into foam foam filled tank. What i have done though is bypass the internal filter as they get very dirty and constrict the pump...Ive added a pressure gauge and systec fuel filter at engine .

ideally id like a redesign with lift pump and return and run an fpr but ok atmo.

who have thought a fuel filter inside pot..... ive teed the lines so in the circuit but a bypass.

forgot this bit fitted a sohn device so injects 2 stroke oil instead of sump oil so will not consume oil from the sump and now means i can switched to FS oil so nowing running Millers 5/40 Fs nano race woppity whop oil....as i cant find anything wrong with my oil delivery system ....time will tell....
Rx7 FD rear oil pressure regulator is already in so 100psi WOT oil pressure is fine....this new engine cost me nothing but time so hopefully fullysyn looks after the bearings.

Tempted to put a 50 weight in next.

looking for some 9j rear 13" wheels for better rear end grip.

bought some rear wheels 9j so gonna stick some 240 45 13 Yoko a005 advans on the back....hopefully dont rip the rear axle out and equates to some nice grip and a lower lap time.

Well ive been off work recuperating after an op and been bored rigid busy doing nothing lol....which has got me thinking hence the wheel purchase...

If on my return to combe i cant get it down to 1.14.......then its up forsale.

I wanna race and Combe special Gt is the series ive aspired todo so will sell regroup and start again ....

currently 1.17 on 200 section a005 and on the limit!

1.17 Special gt is nealy last and not interested.....been track daying for 17years and need to take that step. 1.14 is mid pack and ok with that.

But if it blows up again im done with Rotary fullstop....

glad it's finally playing properly.

how do you find the noise limit at Castle Combe with it?
I'd still love a rotor powered Westfield

92 dB At 4500rpm tested yesterday...never had any issues...its not got louder either which is testamount to Torque Technique in Salisbury who made the silencer for it...9" repackable...
This competitive itch for racing never goes away despite trying my hardest to logically discount it...which means the car is just still not fast enough....i dont think i can physically drive it any faster.....it may be up 4 sale..i just need to make a decision which i been trying to make for 18 months....

Little update...
Managed a 1.15 round Combe...so very happy...
Last track day fitted 9j wheels with 240 section slicks...so much rear grip...transformed car.
So 3rd engine has now done 2100miles so looks like the bearing issue is put to bed.
Millers 5w 40 ntcfs fully syn has done the job.
Not selling its now awesome and im 1 second away from my combe target...

Car is still for sale. £8k take it away and all spares. car is ready to go. Could do a track day tomoz and drive there and back. Brand new power vamp battery just fitted. Road legal....road wheels and track wheels £thousands spent.

Genuine reasons for sale some health issues Im dealing with at present which mean less time in the garage.

Its a unique rapid car and i would help the new owner look after it.
