Indy HSR on the Bay

Lovely, wish I could afford it

MK HSR INDY 2013 gsxr 1000 cc white kit car Austin healey

Nothing to do with me by the way, in fact, if it was mine, I wouldn't be selling.

That's the one they took to Stoneleigh a couple of years back. I sat in it, for a 'bare' interior it's surprisingly comfy. I didn't get to drive it, but I did get a feel for how the bodywork fits together. It's very tidy.

Nice, but can't help thinking it'd be better with a straight 6 (BMW like mine?), to be more in keeping with the original Healey

It'd have to have a roll bar for me too

Got to agree with you Nick, and the roll cage is definitely a must have.

Still love it though

Sorry to dig up an old thread, does anyone know if the HSR bodies are still available and if they are still dedicated to the Indy chassis or can they be made to fit others. Did this go to Kit Cars Direct with the rest of the Indy stuff or did KAD keep hold of it (TCC article in 2016). As previous comment BMW straight 6 or possibly the IS200 2.0l straight 6 with 6 speed box (not much bigger than a type 9) may also be possible and in keeping.

What sparked this was seeing an original Healey 100 in dark BRG and black wheels/trim driving through Farnborough today (three letter three number plate). Absolutely stunning in my eyes.

I've recently been in touch with KAD recently and they are still doing the bodies.
