Watergate Bay Hillclimb 2019

Closed road hillclimb in Cornwall (near Newquay) over the weekend. I didn't worry the scorers because of an allergic reaction to bales and Cornish B roads. Stunning venue though

Stunning photo from 589 Photography

And my fastest run (which wasn't that fast)

Love that photo!

Looks like a fun event. Shame the allergies put you off.

Practise 1 had a Scooby on its roof and the final run on the Sunday had a Chevron B19 badly damaged. Lots of car came in with less bits than intended, I killed two bales as the car was grounding out under braking with the camber of the road. Lucky it caused no real damage but it was braking down from 125MPH on a Cornish B road so ....I backed off a fair bit at that point.
