Good picture that, the back end is not so nice. They pissed a lot of people off when they put the 6r4 v6 in the back instead of a v12, after they had taken their deposits LoL.

Have I seen those rear lights somewhere before? Or am I just being stupid?

A Jag specialist near us has had one up on his hoist with the engine out for about three months! Beautiful car but i'm glad i'm not the one picking up that particular bill.

I belive they change it to two wheel drive instead of four at the last minute to. But still was a good fast capable car with great curves.

1/4 of million and you get rover lights and a metro engine, no wonder they didn't sell them all. Apparently they didn't stop to well either.
still very nice to look at though.

LOL... I think it's fair enough to say that the 'metro' engine was just a little bit special!

The light trick ws quite common back then, TVR Griffith had upside down Cavalier rear lights, Chimera had mk3 fiesta ones hidden behind a clear panel, aston virage tantage had scirocco rears

Never did it for me I'm afraid - thinks it's fugly bugger myself. It looks big and heavy with far too much front and rear overhang.
