Focus RCL

Not even bothered trying to investigate the fault (because the key works fine) but wondered if anyone on here has had the same problem.
Remote central locking doesnt work, however does for about a month after i have had the battery off to work on it, battery is good in the fob etc.

Cheers

John

Couple of suggestions from other forums.

Turn the ignition key in quick succession from off to ignition on 4 times. You should hear a chime to indicate programme mode. Quickly remove the key and press the lock button followed by the unlock button. Wait until you hear the chime again and see if the fob works. If it does not operate the central locking, see if you can open the tailgate with the fob, I guess you have a three button remote? If it doesn't, repeat the above but quicker!!

And fuse 63.
What you have to do is open the glove box, swing it down and youll see the fuse box.undo the two 7mm bolts and push the two white tangs in to release the fusebox from the metal casing.you then need to lower it down and turn it around.there on the fuse box is the lock fuse 20amp(hidden between the wires).
