Please help, I had decided to go for a new Clarke 151TE for about £194 but have been offered a Lightly used SIP TOPMIG 150 for £150, I'm now tempted by the TOPMIG, any comments please,...

Hi mate that is the same Mig that I have got It works fine now I sorted an earth clamp problem not as wizzo as my mates 3 phase set up butworks OK mine has a torch cable that is only 2 m long but you can work around that . If you are about to start your build think very seriously about how you are going to get to each joint for full welding . I used an engine stand and a tresle to make it posible to rotate my chassi through 360 degrees so every weld was easy and if the top mig you are looking at hasa similar short torch cable you may have to consider soome thing like this .
