You'll be very lucky to get a 12mm one - mine only manages 6-and-a-bit mm (1/4"

I'm not sure whether I'd want to hang onto a right-angle drive with a 12mm bit in it...

Got mine from a show, so I can't recommend a supplier (might have been Frosts).

Could you use a small right angled air drill with a carbide burr instead?

I just bought one from eBay for about £7. It came in a blow moulded case and takes up to 10mm bits. I only bought it to do one specific job but it is quite durable so hopefully it will be in my toolkit for a while yet.

i needed one last week, couldnt find one in time so i bought a ryobi right angle drill, it came as a pair (normal and right angle) of 14.4v drills for £80, very nice tools though. dont forget that the dewalt on ebay is a bare tool, no battery or charger! I love dewalts, but not that much!

yeah, saw those one ebay; look a bit cheap and nasty but I guess it is throw away money.

re: 12 mm? ok, IO chose a figure out of thin air; since I plan to drill the chassis underside for fitting ali panels then 3 or 4 mm would be ample.

That's actually better than mine!

Works OK though, for the small stuff (like rivet holes).
