Hello 2!

I've also just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. like 4x4Chris I'm also an XR 4x4 enthusiast and intend to build a Locost from a 2.9L 4x4 donor... wish me luck!

Two more 4WDers to the fold. It'll be getting along for double figures soon!

Check out Ewan's site and mine (when I finally get round to doing it). Get plenty of asprin for the ensuing headaches and good luck. It can be done, and it can be done cheaply (unlike a Dax 4x4). There should be plenty of old 4WD related posts if you use the search function or I can try and help with any queries since I think I've considered pretty much all there is to consider at one time or another.
