BMW 330d Touring auto - FOR SALE

I know there are a fair few on here in the "luxobarge" school of bangernomics...so I figured this might tickle your fancy

52 plate 330d touring - good overall condition, FSH up to 140k, now running 152k, so overdue for the service. Goes like an absolute rocketship, makes similar torque to an m3, so no slouch, and with the steptronic gearbox, it has the "mental mode" as the kids call it, where you flick the gearstick to the left, and it goes into fully sequential full power mode which can be fun!

In terms of practicalies, it's a BMW, so is lovely to drive,
cruise control,
xenon lights,
split opening tailgate,
6 disc multichanger,
two keys,
lots of boot space,
a genuine 30mpg round town, and 40mpg in mixed conditions, with about 50mpg possible on a very sedate motorway cruise (i managed 48mpg on the run back from buying it from Bristol)
Cloth interior with no rips

Had brand new winter tyres fitted all round in Dec, car is a great drive.

Late last year i fitted a new injector after it started being a poor starter when hot - the local garage claimed it was one thing, I did a leak down test and proved they were wrong - and I would have wasted over £500 on their incorrect hunch... - easy to work on, lots of info available online as it is an enthusiast car - car now start faultlessly hot and cold, and all other injectors were well within spec

I will also include the BMW coding software and plug in I bought to code the injector worth £70 - so you can service it yourself, and get rid of the service notification - I haven't done this as I didn't want to create doubt about who/how well it was serviced.

Tax obvioulsy doesn't trasnfer and the MOT Runs out soon

rust bubbling on the front two wheel arches (as is the case with most 3 series of this age), could be fixed, or new ones bolted on - colour matched they are only a bit over £100 each as I understand it, and one of the reserve senors is shot, but they are cheap and easy to fix.

I'd estimate it's worth about £1800 on open ebay.

I'd take £1250 from a fellow locoster. Thats a firm price, come, look pay the cash and go - not come, waste my time, hum and har, and then low ball me - I will just go inside and let you drive home - it's a good price because I want an easy sale.

I have owned the car for 2 years, and bought it from a someone I know - only selling as my Mrs was using it, but has had a midlife crisis and requires a 2 seater... (I figured a new car was cheaper than a new wife )

It's a hell of a lot of car for the money.

Located near Southport Lancashire. Photos to follow

Original turbo? Swirl flaps? Any suspension knocks and bangs?

These are insanly good tow cars, mine pulls my race car and trailer with ease. New wings are £130 from ebay (painted) and take about 30 mins to fit.

Looks like a bargain
