I have decided to sell my Volkswagen Vento
It is the 1.9 Turbodiesel model, very economical and very torquey
It is on an L 1994 registration and has covered just 109,000 miles
It comes with 17'' Fox racing alloys with one Toyo proxes T1-R and one continental, the other two are budget tyres all with good tread
I imagine it would make for a very good tow car
The engine starts easily and is surprisingly smooth at speed for an old diesel
The interior is in very good condition very little sign of wear and damage
The car very economical on both fuel and insurance
I want to be as honest as possible, and the car does have a few faults as to be expected of such an old car
first off it does have a few rust patches, on on the passenger sill and both of the rear arches are bubbling and have small patches of rust but nothing too bad just cosmetic
The passenger rear arch has a small dent/scratching, again, nothing too bad - there are photos showing both this damage and the rust patches
The windscreen has a stone chip, its quite small so im not sure if it would get thru an mot like that or not, im not certain of the rules
and finally the left rear shock absorber has leaked and needs replacing, replacements can be ordered for under £20 from eurocarparts website
The MOT and tax are both expire on the 31st March 2011
This car has been good to me and I will be sad to see it go
