exhaust mod advice

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a bit of work done on 2 BEC Yamaha R1 04-06 exhaust end cans?

I want the inlet pipe to be straight rather than angled as it is from standard. I will attach a pic below to give you an idea of what im rabbiting on about

In the picture below.....i need the inlet/link pipe straight. I think its titanium but want a locost option. I dont have the tools to DIY and the link pipe will be wrapped so not too fussed on the look

Any ideas? Im in Aylesbury

prob your only option is to get a length of exhaust pipe the right diameter, chop off the bend and clamp it on

I was hoping i could get someone to replace the old inlet cap with this

And add some length to the link pipe?

Drill out the rivets holding the old inlet cap on, pull off the cap, drill holes in the new cap to match rivet holes, rivet new cap on, clamp pipe to new cap, simples

seriously though, easy job only requiring a drill and a rivet gun. did exactly that to convert a silencer to fit my TTR250.

Cheers for the reply chaps

Ive drilled the rivets out and removed the light silver end cap but the actual inlet end cap isnt riveted on.....it looks to be spot welded by machine. I will try and get a photo up to show what i mean.

Probably not the greatest photos but in the 1st you can see the mark from the spot weld (left of the drilled out rivet hole) and the 2nd is the top of the weld.

ive dremeled the top of that weld off but theres a few more spot welds around the rim where the weld isnt visible.

There must be a local exhaust fitting garage near you, just take your exhaust, with a decent sketch of your mod, and they will have a bit of pipe to weld in place, and should not charge much just for that.
