Just this, steering wheel changed and whole interior will be redone next winter, new chairs, dash completely redone with hydro dipping bits and flocked. I wanted the interior to feel more like regular car because of the look.

I expect so, The question is will they want to do a mainly exterior feature cover before I do the interior otherwise you'll be waiting a year as i wont tackle the interior until the winter.

you need to get out and enjoy driving it

maybe install a mirror on a stick, so as you drive along you can see yourself in the car and the great big grin you will / must be having

Thats fantastic! Very well done!

Are you planning some kind of trim over the hole at the brake fluid cylinders (I think they are?)

Cheers

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.

Yea it will have black mesh over that area to finish it off a lot more. Car needs one hell of a clean when I'm back to remove all the mess from filling and sanding.

Back from Oz now, although I've been ill a few days and managed to get on with some work yesterday.

* changing orange indicators to clear lenses on rear
* fit rear camera (not hooked up yet)
* fit meshing around car
* fit HID 4300k kit (not high 55w, but 35w for better light but without dazzling drivers)
* Change front end to softer springs

Was a long evening yesterday!! Hopefully will take it out for a little drive this weekend, although annoyingly a window has become unbonded in areas, so needs putting back on properly at some point so ill have to use tape to hold that down.

Exhaust end piece should be done soon...I hope! And last pic shows the door open in the garage, so should be able to park it in most places. Although everytime I see a photo of the car in there, it surprises me how i built it in there.

Its actually a standard production colour. somethign which was a must for me.

It is Range rover Evoque Firenze Red. Normally only seen on quite flat Range rover side panels, so I've been impressed how the colour comes out on the curves.

so while everyone else was probably enjoying Stoneleigh I was still doing all the bits required.

which in the end including stripping the head off and having it pressure tested and refaced! Ive since put it all back together and touch wood hasnt over heated yet but then i haven't driven it yet just run it for long periods of time. I also got the meshing on the reservoirs done, some camber bolts fitted and made progress on the exhaust.

The next two weeks key pieces of work are to get the windows completed and exhaust on so I can actually drive it and maybe make it to the Wilton house weekend.

I havent posted on this thread in ages!! but it contained a pic of my first dashboard and wanted to show how version 3b is looking.

Taken a long time and alot of effort but getting there. I flocked the dashboard myself.

Biggest lesson learnt, turn the device off when refilling the flock, gave myself two big zapps! Surprised how much of a zap for a 9v device! The below link is a small video of how I made the device be the same as one sold for £150 (9v instead of 3v) but cost just about £30 for the bits. Very simple to do (not technical challenging at all) and the outcome on test pieces. Also shows how flocking works.

I dont update on here enough really, but as I was reading the other thread it created recently I thought id update it.

Another year of using it and after 3yrs, im at 6500miles. Over this summer I fitted a new engine, it is a built engine and is good for 500BHP, im currently running about 320bhp for it. I will need to do fuelling upgrades before I go up the power range as such. Ive also just had a custom exhaust made as I wanted that done properly finally.

Next step is building a new better diffuser and then on to a custom wing. Here's some pics of the work this year

Photoshop of what i'm aiming for
