SVA + suspension compliance

Does anyone know if "standard" front suspension setup is truly SVA compliant?

The reason I ask is that I've just come across someones web site with pictures of foam pipe lagging cable tied to various bits. The builder reckons that it was necessary to pass the SVA!

I'm a bit worried about this now 'cause it looks an absolute c***!

Bloody good question.

C*** is far too nice a word for how they look with the lagging....

Anybody?

That was going to be my comment aswell! Much the same as getting a modded car through an MOT.
