Carbon fiber cycle wings

A pair of cycle wings, vacuum bagged, waiting for trimming and clearcoating. Weight for a typical fiberglass wing is about 520-550 grams, weight of this carbon wing is 360 grams untrimmed (!!!). Yet, it's striffer than the equivalent GRP wing!

Anyone intererested for a pair, please reply here or send me a pm. Prices lower than you might think!

Clearcoating is the last coat of a composite part which is done for two main reasons:

1) To make the part ultra-shinny
2) To protect the part from UV light.

It's that shinny coat you can see on car's bodyworks.

Of course! If not, the sun will deteriorate the resin and the finish will become dull.

This wing is 204mm wide. It can accomodate a tyre with 195mm maximum width.
Soon to follow will be a 220mm version and a CSR style wing! Rear wings, narrow and wide, soon too!

Rimmed off? What do you mean by this?
If you mean "trimmed off" yes of course thay are trimmed off and clearcoated.

Foa a set of narrow (204mm) CSR style the cost will be 160 GBP plus 15 GBP shipping. You will buy them for 200 pounds elsewhere.

If there is a bunch order i will be able to lower the cost significantly!

1) Narrow wing (overall width 204mm, overall length 755mm) : 130 GBP

2) Wide wing (overall width 220mm, overall length 755mm) : 140 GBP

3) CSR style narrow (204mm) : 160 GBP

All prices are for a PAIR of wings

You will find similar products elsewhere for more than 30% more and i always use carbon and only carbon for my wings. Please note that there are people out there making "carbon" wings and they use 2 outer layers of carbon fiber and 1 layer of cheap fiberglass inside where it cannot be seen. You can see this only when it has been broken.

Shipping costs are 15GBP for any type of wings. Prices will be lower for a larger order / group buy.
