HELP PLEASE - BEC Electrics

Can anyone help?

I have an MK Indy with an Aprilia RSV engine.

I was doing a track day yesterday and mid afternoon the engine would not rev (it was like safe mode). It will run fine on tick over but will not rev. There is no fault codes on the Aprilia clocks.

Checked the plugs and they were all ok. Disconnected the battery and re-connected and it didn't make any difference.

Could it be the coil pack breaking down.

Any help or ideas

Thanks guys.

Don't. know about the Aprilla engine, but had similar probs. with my blade engine and that was the rectifier/regulator.

Bit more information would help; what RPM is it limited to?

Is it like a hard limiter that cuts at exactly the same RPM each time or does it sound like it's misfiring and simply struggling to rev?
