Side Panels

Am presently working on a card template for the side panels. After much fiddling, I've managed to make suitable apertures for the wishbones and track rods. All this time-consuming fiddling has given rise to a question.

Do I go for the one-piece side-panel, or the as-per-book 2-piece version?

What did other builders achieve on this area of the build?
And how?

TIA

I didn't go as far as the nosecone, I stopped at the fu section, westy style. It lets the air flow through the radiator better and is easier for maintenance if you need to get to the rack etc. I did mine in 2 pieces as it was more economical, but I'm doing it in 1 next time.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Yep, didn't bother going all the way, just up to rear wishbone mounts (fu1/2 tubes i think)

Makes access easier to rack, be a bitch to do anything otherwise.

Mine go right up to the nosecone (earlier MK) and no probs with overheating. To gain access to the rack (which must be rare) just take the nosecone off.
