Westfield wide bodied zetec for sale
After a bit of time away from the sprint scene, another baby, marriage, less time and money available. I have concluded the Westfield SEIW has to go
up for sale.
She is in good condition and cleans and polishes up very nicely, as the pics indicate albeit she is not a show car and there are a few age-related
scratches and blemishes from clumsy kids in the garage, marks and stone chips.
The car is very well balanced with good power, which makes it a joy to drive both on road and track. I've owned the car for almost 4years and
the only failure i had was a broken throttle cable and a weak detent spring which was a simple fix.
Having taken ownership of my Westy i was keen to get onto the track and really enjoy the car without worrying about speeding fines. While at the wscc
Blyton weekend and trackday, my eyes were opened to the world of sprinting.
The following year I made a few mods and entered my first sprint, I was then hooked and wanted to do more. So even more mods and a better setup, i did
a full season.
After a great years competition we managed to achieve a 2nd place in the WSCC novice sprint championship, learned tonnes, (low 64sec @ Harewood) had
loads of fun doing it and made some great mates in the process. While i would like to get back into another seasons sprinting next year, (subject to
new rules:-) I just don't think i can afford it.
