Roll cage padding

Hello,

just a quick question. I would like to get some padding for the roll cage, but dont know which sort to buy.

I have seen that there are harder and softer compounds, but which would be suitable for a mixture of helmet use use (the occasional track day and long journeys) and also helmet free use.

Thanks

paul

I'm not sure any of them are 'helmet free' padding. You are wrapping a large steel bar in foam, if you then hit your, helmet free, head with it at 30mph it will not make a large difference which type you have.

Go for the fireproof one that is the softest as you are liable to need it when you bang your head getting in and out and not in an accident.
