GRP side panels / 'H' tube alignment - good enough?

(Apologies if you are also on the Haynes forum as i've posted this up there too....)

A question for everyone who has fitted their GRP sides. Would you go with panel alignement that was as good (or bad) as what is shown below?

Essentially - where the panels bend inwards, i.e. where the dashboard side of the scuttle sits - is sitting about 5mm forward of where the chassis rails have the same bend. I don't have The Book to hand, but think it's called tube 'H'.

I think it will look fine, because I think I can still get the nosecone and bonnet to line up no problem, and on reflection if anything it will give me marginally more space in the footwell.

But - as the forum is here for everyone to comment - whaddya think?
