I used an alloy one I bought in a bike shop, slightly modified - you can see it in this picture, on the left side of the scuttle:

It was held together with 6 csk bolts, so I fitted longer ones and bolted through the scuttle metal.

Similar to David's: mine is a bike tax disc holder, with the arm bent in a dog leg so the 6 mini bolts clear the scuttle. The end of the arm was bolted onto the scuttle.

Mine's bolted on one of my dash bolts, same idea though

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Stick it between the seats as fozzie's done. It's on display, but will also annoy the policeman/woman when he finally catches up with you.

I know what you are saying, but, if you look at it, its in the same position as a tintop, just a couple of feet further back.
The way things are today, all they have to do is 'do a check' on the reggo, and it will tell them it is taxed!

Probably not as much as my bike one, it's mounted inside the front fairing. I can see it perfectly when I'm sat on the bike!
