Hi guys, thought I would tap in to some of the extensive knowledge and experience that obviuosly exists amongst the contributors to this excellent forum (enough flattery??)

Anyway, as per the title, what's it worth?

SVA'd 2006
Carbed R1 5JJ engine
Barnet clutch conversion
3.38 rear diff
Baffled sump
Quaife reverse box

Cheers peeps

Hard to say without pictures? was it a factory build, Q-Plate etc?

Its on an age related plate from the donor and its not a factory build.

You might get £6 - 7k for it if it is in good condition and you're prepared to wait for a buyer. I recently sold a similar spec car and all the interest seemed to be around the £6k mark.

some went on pistonhaeads for good money not long ago (couple of months tops)

depends on whether someone wants to spend more for a newer reg or not.

i've had a lot of interest from folk with 8-9k to spend but i'm not yet that desperate to sell.

Thanks guys - so I'm interpreting something in the region of £6.5-£7.5k?

Interesting thoughts as the chap has it up for sale at £9k currently

That could be around cost to build one of these but it can easily increase to £11k and if its the one im looking at i think when it was featured it had quite some hours and mods put into it. I for one would much rather pay top end for a amazing built one than a shody one where corners have been cut.
