MT75 BOX

I've hit a problem, I think, Getting ready to swap over to Pinto and Mt75 box, but I have a live axle. The flange on the rear of the gearbox has one of those doughnuts, I now need to find some way of allowing a bit of in and out movement as the axle rises and falls. Or, do I ??

Can you use a sliding section on the prop?

D&F do an adapter to go from the tripod to a standard joint allowing for a standard sliding prop.

My Sierra type 9 had a doughnut behind the box but when I got my prop back from Bailey Morris it had a sliding joint and uj fitted.

many thanks for the pointers. A guy on another site suggested looking at a Land Rover Discovery rear prop. This I did and find that its near enough exactly what I'm looking for, very reasonable price too.

Just an update. I have now taken a Land Rover Discovery rear prop and shortened it to fit. The front flange/rotoflex coupling fits the same as MT75 and the rear has a sliding joint. The holes picked up with the diff flange and I now have a sliding joint with 50mm of movement. So I'm very happy. All for the price of £14.00. Land Rover parts seem very cheap compared to others. I have the master cylinders from them also, cheap as chips
