R1 Fault code

Hi guys,

Sorry more R1 probs! Everytime i turn on the ignition error code 14 comes up on the dash! I have a rough idea on what it is but no idea on how to get rid of it?! Any help on exactly what the problem is and how to sort it?
Its an 06 R1
Cheers
Dave

As above, I think 14 is from the sensor that was in the ram air pipes...

its as i thought. But the annoying thing i that greg (corrado vr6 on here) is also building an indy with the same model R1. as far as i can tell we have the same setup and he doesn't have the fault code. Any ideas on how i can get rid of the code? Tests, checks etc?

Cheers
Dave

Have you tried swapping Greg's air intake pressure sensor with yours, maybe that yours could be faulty

Cheers

Have you run the engine yet? It won't clear until the engine is idling. Otherwise you may need to clear the code through the dash DIAG 62. There are some links to the workshop manuals available for download in this thread HERE

You will also be able to check the sensor live through the dash in diagnostic mode.
